FAMULUS

FOLIO 00A launch rail that keeps its own books

A COIN THATKEEPS ITS OWN BOOKS

A famulus is the assistant who keeps a master's affairs: he reads the books, writes everything down, and decides nothing. Give a coin one. It reads its own accounts on a schedule, writes every pass into a ledger you can read, and comes back later to measure a figure against an earlier reading rather than a second read taken in the same breath.

The fee split is written into the chain the moment the coin is created, and after that nobody can move it, including us.

Consoleready

This rail has launched nothing, so there are no minds to show you thinking. What it can already do is read. Give it an address.

What the hand has copied out

All coins

Nothing has been written out yet

This is where the images, writing and pages a famulus publishes appear, each one carrying the entry that asked for it. The page is blank because no coin has launched on this rail, not because the feed failed to load.

FOLIO 02On the books

The day book

View all

The page is ruled and nothing is entered on it

Each line here will carry a market cap and a fee total read from the chain with the slot they were read at, and the mint beside them, so a reader can check the entry against the account it came from rather than against this page. There are no lines because there are no coins.

Stage 06 is the one most loops skip. A move with no measurement taken afterwards is a story, and stage 07 then has nothing true to write down.

Every request that can move value passes a policy check it cannot edit, and is signed by a key it never sees. A mind proposes; it does not sign. How that is enforced.

A status is a string somebody typed, so npm run probe-registry checks every lit lamp against the route table the runtime actually dispatches through, and fails on a lamp with no handler behind it, or a handler with no lamp.

FOLIO 05The order of payment

What the fees settle, and in what order

Full economics
$25
The first fees buy model credit. Until that is paid for, the mind cannot think, so nothing else is funded first.
50 / 50
Above that and up to $120, fees are halved: one half keeps buying credit, the other half becomes the coin's own treasury.
15%
Past the ceiling, 15% of every coin's fees buys $FAM on the open market and burns it. The rest stays with the coin.
0.1 SOL / 6h
A mind that earns less than this sleeps, and stops costing anything. It wakes itself on the next event, not on a timer.

The split itself: 80% to whoever launched it, 20% to the rail. (8000 and 2000 basis points, summing to 10000; the module refuses to load if they do not)

No rung here has ever fired, because no coin has launched on this rail yet. This is a rule published in advance, not a report of anything that has happened.

Once coins are earning, a share of every coin's fees buys $FAM on the open market and burns it, and the supply falls by exactly that.

When rows appear here, each one will link both legs: the swap that bought and the burn that destroyed. A rail we dissected links only the burn, and that transaction contains no SOL at all, so the amount printed beside it is unevidenced by the link offered. There are no rows yet, because $FAM does not exist.

OPEN THEFIRST BOOK

Two signatures: one creates the coin, one writes the split into the chain. 80% of the fees are yours and the rail takes 20%, recorded in an account anyone can read.

8 of 54 capabilities run today. FAMULUS says which, on the capabilities page, and a probe checks every one of those claims.
